Some people meditate. I calibrate \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3725\">My Hobby Has Nothing To Do With Work.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3726\">Except \u2026 wait &#8230; somehow &#8230; it totally DOES.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3727\">It all started with an idea: <em>&#8222;<\/em><strong><em>Wouldn\u2019t it be cool to turn the garage into a cinema?<\/em><\/strong><em>&#8222;<\/em> Fast forward a few years, and that \u201ccool idea\u201d turned into a full-blown passion project \u2013 complete with surround sound, acoustic treatment, a DBA of subwoofers you can feel, and the kind of vibe that makes you forget the outside world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3728\"><strong>No PowerPoints. No meetings. No deadlines. Just a screen, sound, and that little sparkle in your eyes when everything <\/strong><strong><em>just works<\/em><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-15-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-15-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-15-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-15-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-15.png 1333w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3731\"><strong>But here\u2019s the thing: even though it\u2019s not a workspace, my home cinema has taught me a surprising amount about the world I <\/strong><strong><em>do<\/em><\/strong><strong> work in.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3732\">A Place to Disconnect\u2026 and Connect the Dots<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3733\">When I step into the cinema, I switch off \u2013 but I\u2019m still experimenting. I adjust speakers. I run room measurements. I play with DSP settings. I optimize acoustics. Not because I have to \u2013 but because I\u2019m curious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3734\">And in that process, I started seeing clear parallels to what I do at work: Helping people create <strong>seamless AV experiences<\/strong> where the technology fades into the background and the <strong>actual experience takes center stage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-16-768x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18088\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-16-768x1024.png 768w, https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-16-225x300.png 225w, https:\/\/aitsc.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-16.png 1125w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8230; and there\u00b4s a lot of technology that needs to be faded<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3738\">Whether it&#8217;s watching Interstellar at home or joining a Microsoft Teams call in a meeting room \u2013 the core idea is the same:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let people focus on the moment \u2013 not the tech behind it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3740\">From Hobby to Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3741\">But this hobby didn\u2019t stop at the garage door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3742\">As I started learning and experimenting more, I naturally began to <strong>share what I\u2019d learned<\/strong>. First with friends. Then with others online. And eventually, something great happened: I connected with like-minded AV fans who also wanted to talk subs, screens, setups \u2013 and everything in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3743\">Today, we\u2019re a small but passionate crew known as the <strong>Heimkino Nerds<\/strong>. It\u2019s nerdy. It\u2019s <\/strong><strong><em>our<\/em><\/strong><strong> kind of thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3747\">And it reminds me every day: <strong>Technology + Experience = Connection<\/strong>. Whether it\u2019s in a home cinema\u2026 or a high-end Microsoft Teams Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember3748\">So What\u2019s the Point &#8211; Why Am I Telling You All Of This ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3749\">My cinema was never supposed to be about work \u2013 and it still isn\u2019t. But it fuels me. It sharpens how I think. It helps me see tech from the user\u2019s perspective. And it reminds me what all this is really about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3750\">Creating moments that feel effortless \u2013 no matter if you\u2019re watching a movie, sharing an idea, or just having a conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3751\">It\u2019s about <strong>putting experience before specs<\/strong>, and <strong>people before platform<\/strong>s. Because when tech works so well that no one notices it, that\u2019s when the <strong>real magic<\/strong> happens \u2013 <strong>in the cinema <\/strong><strong><em>and<\/em><\/strong><strong> in the conference room.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3752\"><strong>It\u2019s also about curiosity. About geeking out. About testing things just because you want to know <\/strong><strong><em>what if<\/em><\/strong><strong>. And yeah \u2013 sometimes it\u2019s about cranking the volume, shaking the walls, and smiling like a kid again.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember3753\">That\u2019s what keeps it exciting. That\u2019s what keeps me learning.
